A Thrill in South Hill!
Things to Love in Our Sellers’ Words
• We love the natural light, at different times of the year (usually winter) golden sunsets reflect into the living room and kitchen.
• The open-concept space allows for endless versatility! We’ve used the den as a dining room, a big office, a nursery, and even our own bedroom (with a king bed!)
• We know the importance of storage in condo spaces so we added a custom built-in pantry and wall-to-wall Ikea PAX closet systems throughout.
• In the warmer months the trees/bushes outside our windows are lush and add a nice veil of privacy.
• Our parking spot is tucked in the corner and gives us a little extra room to park
• We’re avid cyclists so we had a wall-mounted bike rack installed in our parking spot to accommodate 2 vertical bicycles – also great for winter bike storage!
• We love how small this building is – we really got to know our neighbours, the lovely tenants in the townhouses across the drive, and all the wonderful dog owners who trot past the patio.
• The concierge/security team knows everyone by name and makes our building feel like home. Our toddler hugs one of them every night before bed,
• The ground floor location with patio access was a game changer for us and makes the unit feel like a townhouse. Dropping off groceries, loading the car, food delivery orders, or friend drop offs are so easy (no elevator trips). Not to mention it’s extremely handy if you have a dog or baby!
• We only have one shared wall (our other wall is the lounge area of the lobby) so sound has never been an issue.
• The ground floor units all have higher ceilings than the other floors! Given that we’re both creatives we fell in love with the spacious and airy loft feel which makes the space feel even bigger!
• There’s a full gym and yoga room with a beautiful locker room and outdoor balcony. Given that it’s such a small building it’s always generally empty!
• There’s also a great ground-floor party room with big windows, a private patio and full kitchen – it only requires a deposit and is almost always available!
• The concierge accepts packages and deliveries 24 hours a day. There’s also a secure package locker for smaller parcels in the lobby.
• The only Waldorf School in the city is across the street.
• There’s even a “pet spa” down the hall to give pets (especially the mud-lovers in the ravine) a place to bathe before going back to the condo!
• We love having Casa Loma, the Spadina museum grounds, plenty of playgrounds, and the Nordheimer ravine so close!
• The neighbourhood is so walkable and gives you that relaxed family feel while still being so close to the vibrancy of downtown, Yorkville and the Annex.
• It’s a short walk to Dupont Station, LCBO, coffee shops, groceries, and awesome eats (Fat Pasha, Fetzun, Playa Cabana, Chadwicks, Creeds Coffee, Ezra’s Pound, Schmaltz Bagels).
